The marching band is recognized as one of the top bands in the country, and is a quality organization that is on the forefront of creativity and excitement. Many of the strongest bonds between friends are formed as members of this ensemble. Contrary to popular belief - the Marching Band does NOT rehearse all summer! We spend a few EVENINGS ONLY the last couple weeks of June rehearsing music, drill and preparing for parade performances. There is also band camp in late July/early August, and that is it!

Once school begins, the band rehearses every day oafter school until only 5:00, leaving the evenings free for homework, jobs or just relaxing. Once school starts, Saturdays consist of rehearsals and/or performances. The full marching band season, with rehearsals and performances, only runs until the middle of November.
