Would you like an easy way to meet fellow band parents, have some fun, and help the L.C. Band Program all at the same time? Why not volunteer to work in the concession stand this year? This is one of our largest, most profitable fundraisers that helps keep the band program rolling along.

In 2005 we will be handling approximately 25-30 events ranging from Varsity, JV, Freshman football games to even taking on the Grimmer Middle School football games including the infamous Kahler vs. Grimmer showdown!

This truly is a great opportunity to get to know some of the band parents and to make some new friends. All you have to bring is your smile and a desire to help out. Some duties include:

• Working the counter taking orders
• Making Popcorn
• Making Hot Dogs
• Making Pretzels w/chese
• Being a 'runner' (basically you get soda for the counter workers to help fill orders

It takes anywhere from 12-20 people at each event to run the concessions successfully. Your participation will go a long way to making this year a success so contact one of the Co-Chairpersons and say 'Hey can I volunteer!'
