The responsibilities of this committee include:

Food for trips for overnight events for the marching band
Feeding the kids during band camp (2 lunches)
Hospitality at all band concerts (baked goods and drinks)

As far as feeding the kids during overnight trips (BOA primarily) this simple requires the collection of money from parents for their students, purchasing the food and serving the food at the specified times.  This committee has a uniquely fun job due to the fact that they will truly get to know the students and find out how special they really are!

As far as the band camp is concerned, the boosters will purchase the main courses and we will ask for some desert donations.  The band is fed one day during each band camp. It is used to break up what can be monotonous activities for the kids and is used as a celebration.

Hospitality requires the request of baked goods (can be done through the mailing list) and the purchase (boosters pay for this) of fruit punch mix for drinks for each of the concerts held.  Concerts include the winter concert, the student conductor concert and the spring concert.
